Yes, 1 year is the minimum age.
Underneath, although it's not dangerous for the child, it's too difficult to get a clear picture.
How long does a session last?
It takes 30 minutes for an iris.

We saw this place when walking by in old Montreal on our anniversary. We decided on the spot to check it out and I'm so happy we did.
The staff were extremely nice, and explained all of our options. They talked about all the different options for formats they had, but didn't pressure us.
Given the neighborhood we were half expecting an outrageous price, but it turned out to be very reasonable. They were able to take the pictures right away and help us decide on which affects we wanted. Then it was just a 40 minute wait to get it finalized, during which time we walked around the city.
I'm very happy we did this, it's a perfect gift to remember our anniversary by.
Also, we couldn't afford to get one of the larger prints right away. But they offer to let us buy it at a later time, which we will definitely be doing.
(To be clear, the initial price included 2 prints as shown, but they also gave us 2 frames at no additional cost. To get it printed on a larger scale or in different format (they have canvas, acrylic, etc) cost extra, which we will be doing later)

Great service and atmosphere, water/tea/coffee on site. Parking right next door very easy to access, it's a very nice souvenir, but if you want to print on canvas yes it's a bit expensive but its worth 100% the trouble.

The prices are on the website, but not in the store. They really should have a poster with the prices to help people understand the costs and what they have to pay, including extras.
This isn't France, where money isn't taboo.
A great experience for couples or families, for sure, but know in advance what you want.
Also it's a small place so the people who work there listen to what you say, but also give the impression of being watcher or listener.

Hot tea was served while we waited for the photoshoot, along with some silly little games to pass the time. And to round things off, an adult pop-style playlist lulled our ears 🙂 I recommend it!

Great activity to do with friends, as a couple or on your own. The staff are very welcoming and make sure you feel at ease. The duration is 30 min, about 3 min to take the photos and the rest to arrange the photos as you wish. During this time you can go for a walk. I'll definitely be back with friends!

Very amazing experience! Our eyes were way more unique than we thought. Everyone was very nice and professional and we were greeted with a choice of tea, coffee, or water. There are many effects you can choose from to add to your pupils and many different frames and sizes you get.
You get to take home one 5 by 7 each and choose to purchase a large version. It is expensive but very beautiful. I would highly recommend!

I had my two children with me who were very agitated, I had made this appointment for my partner's birthday but the daycare closed that day, I was never made to feel uncomfortable with my children the team was wonderful and fast !!! Great service and atmosphere, water/tea/coffee on site. Parking right next door very easy to access, it's a very nice souvenir, but if you want to print on canvas yes it's a bit expensive but its worth 100% the trouble.

I absolutely LOVED my experience at Artiris! I had my two children with me who were very agitated, I had requested this appointment for my spouse's birthday but the daycare closed that day, never was I made to feel uncomfortable with my children the team was wonderful and fast!!! I enjoyed my experience so much, they are professional, passionate and true artists! The picture is spectacular, you can see all the art in the world! We ordered the frame! Can't wait to receive it !
